- Hi !
-
- I asked a question on Macapp.tech and on DSBB about hiding menus with
- MacApp, and only got insults back... (things like: if you don't want menus, use
- a dos machine... why don't you try painting instead... etc).
-
- My question was a serious one. For the same reasons Hypercard allows the
- programmer to hide the menus, I need to be able to do so. The software I write
- is for Shopping malls or Conference centers. It is to be put in booths with
- tactile screens, therefore, the user shouldn't be able to mess up the things in
- the hard disk...
-
- I tried to remove the MBAR resource, and all that goes along with it --> C
- R A S H.
- I tried Moving the MenuBar in -xx in the coordinate plane so that we can't
- see it anymore --> C R A S H
- I resigned to set the menu titles to "" and draw over the menubar, but
- these menus can still be reached. This is not the best solution.
-
- Does anyone have any idea as how NOT to have any menu with macapp?
